From 2015-2024, we were the Barlow Impact Group
In 2020, The Barlow Foundation moved from a traditional philanthropic model to being at the forefront of impact investing whereby all our resources were now fully activated to achieve social change. As an “Impact Group” we hoped to highlight how we can impact change through all parts of our balance sheet, not just through our granting.
We believe philanthropists are merely a drop in the ocean as the facilitators of change, it is those on the front line who truly know the solutions to society’s greatest problems. So we seek to listen to them and back them so they can grow and do what they do even better.
Whether they be Not For Profits, Social Entrepreneurs, or change-makers, we want to support them because we need them now more than ever.
Our Investments, Grants and Sharing are all designed to accelerate positive impact in the world.
